A t-shirt for the pro-protester - The next step

A t-shirt for the pro-protester - The next step

I am putting together a plan for an additional step of our protest to get Steve Kean removed from our beloved club.

You may have read about the snazzy eye catching yellow official fan protest tshirt which is currently available.

Our main problem regards being taken seriously by the club has been proving that the numbers against Kean are a 'majority' as opposed to a 'minority' as he has said to the media and Venkys.

Well I am planning something which along with your effort at the Swansea game and other forthcoming games could go a long way in getting fans heard.

So please. First snap up one of the tshirts here on the 100% Rovers Ebay Link and also via Gift Print.

With gift print you just need to order a yellow t-shirt and then send them this specific file

Second. Drop me a email when you have done so to: tombo1984evans@hotmail.co.uk if you want to have yours, your friends or family's voices heard by the media, I have some set something up with the press that will hopefully help facilitate our voice as fans...

This effort does not represent Vital Football or Vital Blackburn Rovers's opinions. This is a effort on behalf of myself and other Rovers fans.

I look forward to hearing from you! Once again... Stand up and be counted!

One thing though. The ebay link currently shows 23 have been sold. Is the other site similar? I don't see this will jump so much that it will turn into the planned thousands wearing the shirt quoted in an BBC Sport article today. Are there plans to hand them out free before the Swansea game or something? It seems to me that t-shirts in winter just doesn't seem right and certainly won't get the majority of Rovers' followers involved (older people, those who never buy replica shirts and turn up with Bovril in a flask etc). For what it's worth I've got mine and will proudly wear it just playing Devil's Advocate...

Buy a baggy one and wear it over the top of whatever you are wearing...

uncle jacks nephew is spot on, tshirts were not a great idea, scarfs would have been 10x better. People won't go to a football match in December in a tshirt.

Dead on, Tombo. Fans have been wearing club shirts over jumpers etc for years. No excuses folks, come on, get them bought and get them worn. Let's turn Ewood yellow for the Swansea game!

No excuses for us no but what about the vast majority of fans who don't use these sites and have no idea that these shirts even exist? We can't turn Ewood yellow by plugging good ideas to a couple of hundred fans online. The only way is to get the LT to daily implore fans of all ages and backgrounds to embrace any yellow article of clothing be it t-shirt, scarf or hat.
