Kean Allegedly Signs New Contract....

The Mirror Newspaper has released an exclusive (brought to the Vital forums several weeks ago), that our very own Steve Kean has been offered and signed a new lucrative contract, extending his stay at Ewood Park.

The Mirror reports that "Venky's have shown a huge hand in faith handing the undersiege manager an extended contract, whilst Rovers supporters continue to plan and organise protests in an attempt to remove him".

"This will be seen as a slap in the face to many of the disgruntled supporters, who will now definately up the ante, taking the fight to the owners"

Kean's style of attacking football has caused a split between Rovers supporters, with some wanting him ousted due to a lack of results, whilst others want Blackburn to persist with the Scot, as their are signs of positives on the football field, with an element of luck going against Blackburn.

Fun Times at Ewood Park if true!

if this is true this is f'ing shocking the owners clearly dont have the fans and/or the clubs interest at heart.... just the wod of cash they recieve for being in the premier league. worst manager ever for blackburn rovers and worst ever manager in premier league history... once again shocking, looks like were going down boys and girls

You lot need to start getting behind him otherwise youre going straight down.. Youre a complete disgrace to your club, its obvious that Venkys support him so you might aswell deal with it. Its clearly affecting your team. And lets be honest, you have a good enough squad to easily stay up. NZonzi, Hoilett, Samba, Dann, Pedersen, Formica, Rochina... All would WALK into Wigans team. Yet the in fighting at your club could see you go down instead of Wigan! Or you could keep up your protests till March when even Jose Mourinho couldnt save you...

@HuddersfieldYiddo - I think you'll find if you look back on last season when he was first appointed we were behind him and gave him a chance to prove ourselves even with his consistant poor tactics and blabbing on how well we played when we CLEARLY didn't play well, even through january and the second half of the season we gave him a chance and still stoof firm by the club, EVEN after a shocking summer we still gave him a chance to show what he can do but theres only so much disapointment we can take before we want change and so much more failure before we demand change, he has a 18% win record? Won 6 from 32 nearly a full season of games, we have a good squad proven fact, but his tactics are terible and seems to be generally clueless on player selection and substitutes IMO we have only played better in our last few games because of a our new assistant deploying new tactics but we will not be a secessful club with Steve Kean in the helm. So I disagree with your statement of being a 'disgrace to our club' us fans are watching our club sail a sinking ship. All we want is an experience to get us on our feet, instead of this clueless idiot determind to prove himself when he CLEARLY isnt up to scratch.. Steve Kean OUT .. BRING BACK SPARKY

this is inexplicable, and honestly, i really don't see what type of philosophy he's trying to impose on the team. we are still one dimensional and clueless in attack and leaky in defense...

You've got to love the timing here, haven't you? No home game for 3 weeks. No game at all this weekend. Not an accident folks.
10/11/2011 06:52:00
Oh, and that idiot from Huddersfield can shut it - you've no idea what's going on at Rovers at the moment.
