Over the last month or so at Rovers the clubs fans have done protests, barraged twitter with outrage and generally held Rovers boss Steve Kean accountable for the terrible run of form that almost got us relegated last season and sees us bottom of the table as we currently stand.
With a 20% win ratio and with the Scottish rookie manager failing to win over sceptics it is fair to say reward for Kean has rightfully been scant so far.
At most other clubs the axe would be getting shined up with the latest premium grease and the chairman would be lifting weights in preparation for a big swing of the arm to fell the underachieving boss. (NB - Metaphorical this won't actually happen)
But at Rovers, if the latest rumours are to be believed all of this will lead to Kean pushing for a new contract!
Not just content with his current wage which is very high and his current contract length which is hefty for a inexperienced manager Kean seems to think he deserves more.
It is unknown whether Venky's agree with that sentiment or not but suffice to say this latest rumour has not exactly been met with high fives and cups of tea all around.
The rumour was received yesterday by Vital Blackburn and broke on twitter to mass disapproval and it's now at the point where even the national press are reporting it with the Daily Mail in particular featuring it.
I really don't want to see the outrage if this has nay substance to it at all.
Venky's if you are listening (and we know you are), you really are insane if this turns out to be true.
