Valenica to Wigan, Huth to arrive?

Reported Blackburn target Luis Antonio Valencia has agreed to a loan move to Premiership rivals Wigan Athletic.

Blackburn had been linked with a move for the 21-year-old Ecuadorian International midfielder following some impressive displays in Germany earlier in the summer, these performances seeing him in the running for the Young Player of the Tournament Award.

Wigan clinched the season long loan move for the Villarreal star subject to a work permit being granted much to the pleasure of Wigan boss Paul Jewell.

'Antonio is something new for Wigan. He has skill in abundance and combines it with electric pace and a high work-rate.'

Earlier in the week Vital Blackburn reported that Rovers could move to hijack Middlesbrough`s renewed bid for Chelsea`s Robert Huth, the latest suggestions are that Hughes will soon look to tie up the deal for a reported fee of £5 million. Any developments will be reported so watch this space.

WITH NELSEN, TODD AND THE OTHERS WE ALREADY HAVE HUTH WOULD REALLY CEMENT THE BACK FOUR. SPARKY WOULD HAVE A DECISION ON WHO TO LEAVE OUT. I KNOW HE'S HARD BUT EVEN HE WOULD WORRY ABOUT TELLING ONE OF THOSE GIANTS THEY WOULDN'T BE PLAYING!

I'VE SEEN HUTH'S SHOOTING AND IT FRIGHTENED ME BEING MILES AWAY AS I WAS, I'D NOT LIKE TO GET IN THE WAY OF THAT!
