Kean - not my call to get rid of Jensen

Rovers manager Steve Kean has spoken this afternoon about the now departed John Jensen and has explained it was a board decision to get vacate the assistant manager's position.

The spot won't be filled before the match with Manchester City tomorrow but various names have been suggested as possibles without much in the way of concrete evidence.

Giving a short statement, Kean has distanced himself from suggestions he was involved in the decision to sack the ex-Arsenal and Denmark midfielder.

Kean told the Lancashire Telegraph - 'We can't say much about it but it was a board decision and the search has started for a new assistant manager.

'All our focus is on Manchester City and getting a result from it.'

Does anyone believe that's all that's to it? The "legal" bit to means there is more to it...

Will the circus never cease or the coded pronouncements of Kean saying "He (Jensen) has been at the club 9 months and we have to respect that"...wtf does that mean. I can't decide who the biggest clowns are Venkys or Kean...unless you know different?

On what basis was he let go? What exactly had he done? Too weird.
