Two former Rovers to rock up at Donny?

El Hadji Diouf and Pascal Chimbonda enjoy the high life, the fast cars and the fancy if slightly naff clothing.

So a move to Doncaster (of all places) you would expect would not especially appeal.

Apparently it would.

Reports are surfacing left, right and centre that the two former Rovers men could soon be making their way down to the Keepmoat Stadium to play for former Rovers coach Dean Saunders' new side.

Diouf was released by Rovers in the summer after a mammoth bust up with boss Steve Kean and Chimbonda also moved on in January after a dodgy run in the side that culminated in the dreadful display in the 7-1 defeat at Manchester United.

Despite the drop in division the move would represent a fresh start for both.

Seems a strange one to me this... Diouf would be excellent for them if he signs!

After everyone maoned about Diouf not getting a game at Rovers, he is gonna end up a Donny. A free agent which no one has gone near from the premier league. His experience would be vital to newly promoted clubs. Just goes to show he wasn't as good as people thought he was.
