Arsenal are looking for a morale-boosting win and Fernando Torres is after a confidence-restoring goal this weekend. bwin.com assesses their chances, as well as those of all the other teams, ahead of Saturday, Sunday and Monday's Premier League action. All odds quoted in the article were correct as of 12:00 on Friday, 23rd September but are subject to change.

Manchester City kick off the Premier League action this weekend with a lunchtime fixture against Everton on Saturday. The game at the Etihad Stadium sees the Citizens go in as 2/5 favourites to take all three points, with a draw priced at 17/5 and an Everton win at 27/4. These odds suggest the Toffees have little chance of coming away from Eastlands with anything to show for their efforts, although their recent record against Roberto Mancini's men paints a different picture. With seven wins against the Citizens in their last eight meetings, Everton could yet cause an upset. However, barring last weekend's slip-up against Fulham when they threw away a two-goal lead, City's early-season form has been particularly impressive. With seven goals scored and none conceded in their two home league matches so far, another easy win looks on the cards.

Attention will then turn to proceedings at the Emirates and Stamford Bridge, with the three o'clock kick-offs involving Arsenal and Chelsea containing juicy subplots. Firstly, Arsenal have a good opportunity to put their defeat to Blackburn behind them with victory over Bolton. Pressure is mounting on manager Arsene Wenger after Arsenal's worst start to the season for 58 years. But having beaten Bolton nine times in their last ten meetings, the Gunners look set for a welcome win at odds of 21/50. Even so, with the draw at 13/4 and a Bolton win at 13/2, punters could yet be tempted to back the Trotters to continue Arsenal's misery.

Over at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea look set for a routine three points against a Swansea side who have only hit the back of the net in one of their league matches so far this season. The Blues are priced at 1/5 for the win, with a draw at 21/4 and a Swansea victory at 12/1. However, the major talking point is whether Fernando Torres can get over his horror miss at Old Trafford last weekend and score his third goal in a Chelsea shirt. The Spaniard is 3/5 favourite to score at any time and 11/4 to score two goals or more.

Elsewhere on Saturday, Liverpool (7/20) will be looking to build on their midweek Carling Cup success against Brighton with a win over Wolves. Odds on a draw (18/5) and a Wolves win (8/1) certainly suggest three points are in store for Kenny Dalglish's men, as they do for Newcastle at St James' Park. The Magpies are odds-on (4/5) to beat Blackburn (7/2), with a draw at 12/5.

It is a different story at the DW and Britannia stadiums, with Wigan and Stoke the underdogs despite playing at home. The Latics (3/1) could struggle against an improving Tottenham (9/10), who put four past Liverpool last week. That said, a draw could yet hold value at 9/10 with Wigan having secured four points against Spurs last season. Roberto Martinez's men are also unbeaten at home this campaign.

At the Britannia, Stoke come up against in-form Manchester United, with the Red Devils 1/2 to make it six league wins in a row. However, judging by the way the Potters played against Chelsea and Liverpool in their previous two home encounters, the Red Devils are likely to be subjected to their sternest examination so far. Nevertheless, odds on a draw (3/1) and Stoke win (11/2) reflect the fact United, with Wayne Rooney in full flow, should still have enough to get past Tony Pulis' men unscathed.

The one remaining match on Saturday is perhaps the hardest to call, with West Brom taking on Fulham. The Baggies are 5/4 favourites, although they have only claimed victory in one of their league games so far. Meanwhile, Fulham (11/5) are historically poor on the road, although they tend to keep things tight. With this in mind, consider a draw at 11/5.

On Sunday, QPR (5/4) take on Aston Villa (21/10) at Loftus Road. The Hoops will be keen to continue their good recent form which has seen them pick up four points from their last two games. However, with Villa unbeaten so far this season they could pick up their fifth draw in six games at odds of 9/4.

Finally, Norwich (29/20) face Sunderland (37/20) at Carrow Road on Monday, with both sides going into the game on the back of much-needed first wins of the season. A draw might be the obvious choice at 11/5, but with Norwich slowly getting to grips with the top flight a second successive victory for the Canaries could be the best bet.
