UEFA Group stage for Blackburn?

Mark Hughes will this season embark on his first European campaign as a club manager. How far will he take Blackburn Rovers in this season`s UEFA Cup? The latest Vital Blackburn Poll asked just that.

With many of the squad already having experience on both the International and European stage this season`s UEFA Cup shouldn`t be anything new to them, but how well will they really do?

Almost half felt that the group stage is the most likely high point for the club, 43% in fact. Only 1% felt the club would lose should they make the Final. 9% say the Semi Final will be the last port of call for the Rovers express this time round.

With the 06/07 season being the clubs first venture into Europe in a couple of years the group stages will be the minimum objective, if they make the Quarter-Final`s, like 24% of you feel they will; we would hope they can go those few steps further and like the remaining 23% they will actually bring the UEFA Cup back to Ewood in May 2007.

So in summary
Group Stages - 43%
Quarter Final - 24%
Win UEFA Cup - 23%
Semi Final - 9%
Final - 1%

LETS HOPE THE 23% ARE RIGHT, I THINK THE WAFER CUP WOULD LOOK GOOD IN THE EWOOD TROPHY CASE. GOOD TO SEE A POSITIVE APPROACH, ONLY 1% THINKING WE'LL LOSE IN THE FINAL
