Hughes Wants More
After recently adding South African International striker Benni McCarthy to his squad, Blackburn boss Mark Hughes does not yet seem ready to call a halt to his summer signings. Speaking in the Daily Star Hughes said the following.
'We still want to bring in some more players. I'm happy with the way the squad is shaping up and we've got strength and pace in various areas.'
Adding
'But we're working hard to make the squad even stronger.'
Maybe the cheque book should be left open for now, as it seems apparent that he will be looking to add further additions to his squad before the season`s opener against Portsmouth at Fratton Park on August 19th.
