Williams To Do A Hughes??
Technically the title is a bit misleading really!! When I say "Williams To Do A Hughes" I merely mean move onto Manchester City after leaving Blackburn Rovers as Mark Hughes did, which reports are starting to say is something John Williams will do??
The former Rovers chairman is understood to be lined up as the next Man City chairman with Garry Cook (after one "cook-up" too many) looking like he'll be leaving the Etihad Stadium after the latest controversy involving him and an email being leaked.
13-years at Ewood Park ended under the Venky's reign but Williams could land on his feet at City should their billionaire Abu Dhabi owners decide to turn to his wisdom and experience to help guide them?? They could certainly do a lot worse than Williams who'd do a superb job for them I'd say, as he had for Rovers.

As I understand it, he's actually only contracted at the moment as a consultant, not in a permanent position and certainly not the chairman!
