Rovers Failed With Fulham Raid??

Blackburn Rovers tried and failed in a bid to lire Chris Baird to Ewood Park last week.

Talksport is saying that Rovers (along with West Bromwich Albion) made a move to sign the Northern Ireland international full-back on loan. However, Fulham rejected the late advances from both clubs as to not stretch the squad too much given the domestic and European competitions they'll be involved with this season.

Assuming Rovers did make a late bid to sign Baird you'd expect Steve Kean (if he's still the Manager in January) to make his move for him again when the transfer window opens again??

baird's a good player, and i'm glad fulham held onto him, but i would think they can reach an agreement next summer... maybe even this winter, depending on who fulham brings in...
