'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Dann - under fire manager was the key

Uh oh. Don't look now but the manager of Rovers seems to be getting a bit of credit.

Scott Dann has confirmed his move to Ewood Park was driven by the previous work relationship between the player and current Rovers boss Steve Kean.

Dann worked with Kean at Coventry a few years back when the under fire Rovers boss was a coach there and that old relationship has played a part in the £6 million deal to take Dann to East Lancashire.

Dann told the club's official website - 'It's happened quite late but I'm glad to get it done and get started really'

'When you're involved in it it's not the best thing to be involved in, so I'm just glad to get it done.

'I've worked with the manager before and know what he's about and that was a big factor for me, and with the new owners (Venky's) it's a good time to come to the club.'

I don't know if Kean has choose our signings in this or the last window but I have been impressed by them and him IF he has personally choose them from our scouting lists.

Everyone saying Stoke did good business, when you work out what we've spent, including Formica and Rochina, I'm beginning to think value for money Kean and Co. have out-shone everyone. Lets get behind the club and shock everyone, bring on Fulham...

Goo replacement for Jones, But Kean will always be judged by results, He has not go them to date, and the fulham game is a must win match. No excuses now,we need to start grabbing points
