Rovers appoint new board members

Rovers have tonight appointed two new board members to the club board to strengthen what is a pretty weak line up on a day to day club level.

Vineeth Rao and Simon Hunt have been appointed with immediate effect after a few weeks speculation of where the club would be headed.

The move comes off the back of a difficult summer where Rovers have struggled in the transfer market and also in some areas of communication.

The Rovers official website has announced - 'Joining the Ewood Park board are Vineeth Rao, a close family friend of the club owners, and Simon Hunt, a former professional footballer with experience in management, scouting and sporting director roles at clubs home and abroad.'

Welcome to the mad house chaps, get stuck in!

Thank god we're starting to get some more members on the board - we're looking a bit light up top! (like on the pitch)

Shame Vineeth isn't a patch on John Williams. Asks my advice. I take the time to type a constructive response with solid advice and he can't be assed to reply or say thankyou...

Good that we've got two more bodies in, but are they up to it? Sounds like a distinct lack of grace from Vineeth, Tombo.
