'We're after a striker'...
We have been crying out for a decent goalscorer for what seems like a generation and it finally seems as if Steve Kean has made obtaining one a priority after announcing his intentions on Sky Sports this morning.
After seeing mainly midfielders head into the club this summer it seems the time is nigh for Rovers to finally splash the cash and get someone in to bag the goals.
Kean told Sky Sports - 'We're still looking to strengthen at the top of the pitch, to get bodies in to complement the signing of David Goodwillie'
'I met a player on Monday, and I'm seeing another striker after being given permission from his club to speak with him.
'We're at it full blast to get bodies in, and to get them in quickly.'
Wouldn't mind a name Steve if you have got one!

Very good news, but I have to agree - we do need strengthening at the back too. Mind you, when we signed Colin Hendry, he was a striker to begin with. He moved to the back and weighed in with goals from set pieces and the like. Oh, for a signing like that!
