Hoilett ready to sign a new deal
It seems to have been a long time coming but finally Junior Hoilett is set to sign his new long term contract.
Hoilett, Kean and Hoilett Snr. (Junior's agent) have taken their sweet time in getting the hotshot Canadian to commit his future to Rovers but the time is upon us with the boss confirming it will be done by early next week at the latest.
Kean spoke to BBC Radio Lancashire and said - 'We've virtually agreed a very long-term deal.
'I imagine I'll be on a plane to Toronto over the weekend and we'll get that done and dusted.'
Two things -
1) If this get's nailed then it's better than any new signing we'll make this summer.
2) If we use Steve Kean's air miles can we fly Sasman over to the UK just to keep him quiet??

I still don't understand why this is taking so long... also why does Kean need to fly out to Toronto when Junior will be in England this weekend?!

Great news, to say it's dragged on is an understatement. As freidelno.1 says though why does Kean have to go to Toronto? Does he just love flying or what? Just give his old fella a few quid and a free ticket to come over here.

Been hearing this all summer and still not signed, will get excited when its confirmed cos every week it appears a new deal will be signed only for it not to be, Kean did say 10 weeks ago he was going to Toronto but 10 wks later still no sign. I'm confident he will sign a deal but just think we should have had this sorted weeks ago, I'm also a little concerned that it looks like one condition of getting it signed is that Junior wants a release clause in it
