'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Vukcevic is in the building

Rovers are making some stellar progress in the transfer market at last.

Steve Kean has confirmed within the last hour that the club are close to acquiring three brand new signings.

Names have not been mentioned as the club looks to protect their bids amidst fears of hijacking/rumour mongering but expect the local hospitals to be busy over the next 24 hours as Rovers make transfer market progress.

One player who is DEFINITELY close to signing is Sporting Lisbon's Simon Vukcevic who is finalising his move today.

Kean told the Lancashire Telegraph - "Last week we had active bids out there and that's progressed. There are bids that have been accepted. We're at a point of having medicals today and tomorrow so that's positive, because it's been slow.

"The lads are going to come here, we've agreed terms with a couple of players so we're hopeful next week we'll have another couple of faces to add to David Goodwillie and Radosav.

"The good thing is we've followed through with things. It's been slow but we've stuck with it and it's coming together."

Oh baby.
