'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Vieirinha could yet be a Rover

News reaching us this morning that our proposed bid for PAOK's prize asset Vieirinha is coming along nicely with talks reaching an advanced stage... even if a formal bid has yet to be officially lodged.

Talks between the two clubs have been going on for a fair few days and a fee has now been agreed. Once the bid has been lodged formally the player can then be invited to Rovers for talks about a move to sunny East Lancashire.

The Lancashire Telegraph are reporting - 'Blackburn Rovers are understood to have edged nearer to landing Portuguese winger Vieirinha after successful talks with his Greek club PAOK this week.

Sources in Greece have told the Lancashire Telegraph Rovers representatives and PAOK have now agreed a fee in the region of 4million, plus 500,000 in bonuses, for the 25-year-old, although no formal offer has yet been lodged.'

Progress people. progress.

looks like a very exciting player...!

Looks like a very promising player. Looks sharp and well built with an eye for goal so should be able to cut it in the prem. I see this one as a bonus if it comes off, as long as we get another striker and defender as the priority i'll be more than happy this summer.
