VB - Most Improved Player of the Season

This award is to mark the player that VBers feel has improved the most over the course of the season just gone.

With most of the awards being dished out this season the voting has been quite close with a number of players and teams being voted over back and forth.

But with this award there was only EVER going to be one winner.

Jason Roberts got a mention but other than that it was all plain sailing for the winner.

The winner of the Vital Blackburn Most Improved Player of the Season is... Junior Hoilett.

Starting the season as something of a peripheral figure, Junior had the talent but some Rovers fans were failing to see what all the fuss was about.

But a run in the team handed to him by Steve Kean gave him a burst of life and he has never looked back.

From barely on the subs bench to the first name on the team sheet in one season.

If that isn't improvement I am not sure what is!
