'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Kalinic ISN'T on the plane

Nikola Kalinic has NOT travelled with Rovers to Hong Kong as Rovers continue their pre-season preparations.

Reports are cropping up all over the joint speculating whether or not the transfer seeking Croatian is in fact on his way to Hong Kong or is braving the rain in East Lancashire.

Kalinic is searching for a move away from Rovers in search of some first team action after being starved of proper football for the best part of six months.

Niko has attracted interest from abroad with Dnipro in particular being linked with his services in a £4 million - £6 million move depending on who you believe.

The slightly miserable looking one asked Steve Kean if he can do one from Ewood Park the other day but he has so far struggled to push through a move but is looking to seal a switch ASAP.

Only a matter of time now before he leaves I am sure...

i hope so as i am getting sick of his moaning with the small amount of strikers we have got he should be fighting for his place and try and prove his worth instead of constanlty moaning

Inevitable he won't be here next season so let's cut our losses & take £5m from the oddly named Dnipro and move on... We might be able to afford a years wages for 1 or 2 FREE transfers then! lol :-D

Dnipro have reportedly made an offer worth more than 6 million in bonuses for Kalinic which we have rejected apparently. We want the 6 million in full.

If they give us £5 million in full I'd have thought we'd take that... unless there is something I am missing???

we got him for £6 mil, he isn't worth that, i'd happily take 5, shame really wanted him to do well
