Hoilett's new contract making progress

Rovers have made a full formal contract offer to Junior Hoilett in an attempt to get the speed king tied down to a new, long term deal.

Negotiations seemed to have started roughly around the last ice age but despite the very, very slow going both parties are keen to see Hoilett remain at Rovers for the long term.

Kean even went as far as to fly to Canada to speak with Hoilett's Dad who is also the young man's agent.

Kean told the Lancashire Telegraph - "I had a great talk with his mum and dad in Toronto.

'He has since received an offer of a very good healthy contract and the signs are that is progressing well."

You're taking your time boys that is for sure but what price the news that Junior signing his new deal turning this whole summer round?

It's about time, At least things seem to be happening now however :)

Maybe the overdraft may not stretch to afford a pen. Please be a joke
the-one-and-only-mar
they can always nick a pen from argos :P

I hope the overdraft does stretch to a pen - if we are struggling then I can always pop in and get a BIC biro on my way home...

maybe the people of this website could all come together with enough money to afford a pen and donate it to venkys
BRFC-Marcus-BRFC
Could get Salgado to enquire about a Sunlife insurance plan, usually a FREE Parker pen involved! lol Seriously though this is THE most important signing IMO. Samba can go play for the Dingles for all I care as long as Junior commits to stay.

If we donated a pen they may sell it in the fire sale to help overdraft
