Pavone move on hold amid confusion

Rovers move for Hugo Pavone is on hold and is bordering on collapse as confusion reigns at Ewood Park.

Amid fresh speculation on Vital Blackburn that surfaced during the night that the future's of Steve Kean and Kentaro are in doubt it seems the deal to bring Pavone to the club may now not go ahead.

Pavone himself has made it clear he is very keen to transfer to Ewood Park but the word on the street is that Mrs Desai and her board believe they can do better.

Pavone`s English representative Barry McIntosh told the Lancashire Telegraph - "We are still sitting and waiting to see what the situation is. The player is still in England at the moment and still wants to join Blackburn Rovers.

"He has been impressed by the manager and the welcome he has received from the club and he would really like to sign for Blackburn even though he has had offers from other clubs.

"Steve Kean likes him and wants him at Blackburn and as far as we were concerned the deal was ready to be completed. Now that all may have changed and we are just waiting to hear what has happened."

Anyone? I'm starting to get a headache!

There are 180 people on the site all waiting for confirmation - this is great! Pavone isn't the best player - as a squad member maybe, but the owners are now taking control and doing what they want... maybe we'll have the Rao brothers up front in August?

They'd probably do a better job than Santa Cruz last season...

So back our back four is going to be - Desai-Desai-Rao-Rao. Sounds formidable!!!

Aogu - they could be blindfolded and still do a better job that Roque did last season!

Not quite the SAS but DR.DR... sounds like a bad joke! (ahem!)
