Vital Blackburn - Member of the Season

One of the main things we find with being an established site in an independent network in such a competitive market as football is that the members and regular contributors to our site are the life blood of sites like Vital Blackburn.

Hence why each year we ask each VBer to vote for who they consider to be the member of the year.

We reward one members outstanding contribution to keeping this site as active and as interesting as it is.

In the history of the five years of these awards we have had 3 different winners of this particular award.

But this year we have a new name to add to this list after winning the voting by a landslide.

The Vital Blackburn Member of the Season is... Rover 23!

Rover23 has been a VBer for nearly 4 years now and for his efforts with this site was made a journalist of Vital Blackburn midway through the season just passed.

He never shirks an opinion and always contributes to some lively debate.

23 was a member of the Vital Blackburn side who took to Stamford Bridge to represent the site in a valiant effort in the Lucozade Fans Fives and he deserves the award solely for putting up with yours truly for a full 90 minutes at Bolton this season.

He's your member of the season and as a little side note it is the man's birthday today as well!

Well done and Happy Birthday Rover 23 - richly deserved.
