Vital Blackburn - Column/Article of the Season

Over here on Vital Blackburn we tend to have a little internal competition with each other as to who can churn out the best article/feature on the site.

Normally it involves Bom Bom going to great lengths to find some handy gossip, 23 riling up the old timers with his no nonsense opinions and yours truly stuck in the middle trying to restore peace and order.

As a result in this season's end of season awards we decided to have an award that honours the best article or feature throughout the course of the season.

This year has seen the introduction of 23's reflection and preview, news reporting with a twist and overly dry humour from yours truly, Bom Bom's epic effort to get Vital Blackburn out to the Fans Fives in May and even an open letter from Tombo to Venky's posted on VB.

We even managed to snag an interview with my own brother ahead of a clash with Man City a few months back.

But the winner of the article/column of the season for 2011 as decided by VBers is...Getting To Know Morten Gamst Pedersen with Sasman

Yes it appears months of stalking and harassment does indeed pay off as Sasman managed to bag an interview with Rovers midfielder Morten Gamst Pedersen and we got to learn a little bit more about one of Rovers longest serving players.

Well done to Sas and thank you to Morten for his answers.

Not sure I'll ever have much chance of claiming this again as my input is usually limited to comments these days. However, my ramblings probably aren't missed anyway!! Nicely done sas, VBers number one stalker LOL.
