Tomorrow we put Vital Blackburn on the map

There is no doubt that the big match of the weekend takes place on Sunday but if you like a little bit of spirited competition then you will find some on Saturday just as much as you will the following day.

For tomorrow is the Lucozade Fans Fives competition taking place on the pitch at Stamford Bridge with each Premier League team (bar Manchester United) having a side being represented by their own fans.

Representing Blackburn Rovers will be this very website with 6 players taking part on behalf of Vital Blackburn.

We won the right to take part in the tournament by completing four separate challenges which were voted for by fans on Facebook. We received plenty of help from the likes of VBers Sasman, Bom Bom and Blue and Whitey to get us to the tournament and tomorrow will see us take to the pitch to try and bring the trophy back to Rovers.

We kick the day off with a stadium tour in the morning before the tournament get's rolling around midday and culminates with the final about 5.30/6.

To finish off there is an awards bash dinner in the evening where prizes etc will be handed out and the odd beer may or may not be consumed.

It promises to be a cracking weekend and if you fancy coming to see how we get on then Lucozade will be opening the doors at 12 for fans to catch a peep at the action.
