'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Diouf may yet be a Rover again

On loan Rover El Hadji Diouf has been angling for another move to Rangers in Scotland for next season - be it on a permanent or borrowing basis.

Diouf has been away from Ewood Park since January but seems to have fallen in love with his temporary surroundings.

The only problem for Diouf is that murmurings are suggesting that Rangers may look elsewhere for players next season with Diouf being solid if unspectacular at Ibrox.

This however has not deterred Diouf who has insisted that talks are under way.

Diouf told the Lancashire Telegraph - 'We are talking right now with the club to see what will happen after this season but I will tell you now this club is magic, really unbelievable"

'The fans have been great and I have won two trophies and that is why I came here.

'Before I joined people asked me why I was coming because some people thought I was better than that, but no, I am not.

"This club is magic and I love the fans and want to thank them for everything.

'My whole time here has been one of the best in my football life.

'I've only been here for four months but everyone loves me and I got one of the best receptions from the fans."

Would you have the controversial wide man back at Ewood?

I personally wouldn't mind Diouf back but I can't help but feel his time may have passed here?

Wouldn't mind having him back but I can't see this happening. I think he' sounds like he's happy but that's probably because of all the old firm games he's been involved in over the past few weeks. If he's happy playing half a dozen competitive domestic games a season up in Scotland best of luck to him. Can't see us getting a big fee if any at all for his services.
