Rovers have a new board member
Rovers have announced they have appointed a new board member in the shape of Paul Hunt who has been named Deputy Chief Executive.
Paul has been bought in from Leicester City where he was formerly their Commercial Director and he also took in stints working for Bolton (unlucky) and Wigan (oh dear god) and he will take up his new role after the end of the current campaign.
Mr. Hunt, 39 told Rovers official website - 'Blackburn Rovers is a great Club with a fine tradition and I am truly excited about the prospect of working at Ewood Park. As a founding member of the Football League and one of only four teams to have won the Premier League in the modern era, the Club has demonstrated innovation and has had great success. We must honour those traditions whilst looking forward to the future as we progress together with unity both on and off the field. I thank the owners for having the faith in me which I intend to repay with diligence and success.'
Rovers owner Anuradha Desai commented - 'On behalf of the Club and the Directors, we welcome Paul to Blackburn Rovers and look forward to him contributing to all areas, particularly in the marketing of the Club, as we move forward.'

may be he'll be appointed chairman in no time, just like how kean became our manager.

He seems quite a young man as far as a footballing back room executive goes - maybe it will freshen things up?

sounds like a good employment, he has experience at some premierleague clubs and has been in a few different job roles.
