Hold your breath for Dave Dunn's latest injury

Rovers are sweating on the fitness of David Dunn for the remainder of the season after he picked up a calf injury on Monday night.

Dunn has a long history of niggles, cramps, pulls and injuries and the latest one came after a bout an hour of the 0-1 reverse to Man City on Monday night.

Dunn has been putting in a barnstorming performance up to that point but his latest setback could yet see him miss more than this weekend's action.

However and here is a massive shock, Steve Kean is staying optimistic.

Kean told sky Sports - 'David felt a strange feeling in his leg and came off'

'We are hoping it is only fibres, rather than anything more serious.'

Here's hoping, he is rated as doubtful for the crunch clash with Bolton on Saturday.

Shame to see this happen but isn't really a surprise at this point - at least N'Zonzi's back!

IF we stay up next year then Dunn should only play every second game. No point playing him against the top clubs where a lot of energy and effort are needed just to stay in the game. He should be kept for lesser teams where his craft is needed to open them up

Although he was pants against City.. his effort to keep Rovers in the top flight is more than anyone elses.. hopefully we can keep him in the side.. or even to come on after 70 mins to provide a bit of a lift..

I hope Rochina plays in his position if he doesn't play. Dunny hasn't done all that well this season for me because of the injury problems he's had. Just shows how we over relied on him last season.

I thought he played well against City - and Rochina looked utterly lost when he came on for him. N'Zonzi is the obvious replacement, especially as we'll (hopefully) have Hoilett bombing on down one side and Olsson down the other.

I also thought he played ok against City but with Zonz back it should be ok, if he dont make it

He's injury prone and way past his best, let him go in the summer
