'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Mame bigs up Rochin-Gun

Rovers up and comer Ruben Rochina may have left the Nou Camp to play some football but that still doesn't mean he won't make it big - according to on-loan Mame Biram Diouf.

Rochina has been on fire for the reserves recently and now has received his first 'fellow team mate backing' in the shape of a fellow forward.

Diouf spoke to the Lancashire Telegraph and said - "I think Blackburn did really well by signing him and bringing him here because he is a great player. He has got the vision and looks really good playing just in front of the defenders.

"I am sure the gaffer will see that and might give him the chance to play on Saturday.

"You can see he is a great player and the more he grows here the better he is going to get as well.

'You can see his moment will come sooner rather than later.

'He is going to be one of the top players at this club.

"You have to trust players like this and give them time to play and you will see the results.

'You can see that with Junior Hoilett, he has got his chance and is doing a great job.

'You just have to trust the young players and they will give you what you want.

"He is a great player. You can see when he passes the ball there is a bit of Messi in him.

'He has the touch, the feeling and he has a footballing brain.

'His time will come and I am sure he will do very well for the club."

My thoughts on this are simple - why not?

Roque is out of shape, Roberts has his usual problems, Kalinic might as well be dead and Mame Biram himself is hit and miss.

What harm can it do to give the lad a chance?

He seems to have the skills to pay the bills so why not?

Defo why not... He will be desperate to get out there and play now his confidence is up, and Kean needs to freshen things up a bit with Hoillett seemingly the only one of our forward line who can find the back of the net at the moment.

Play him as an attacking midfielder behind 2 strikers. This lad seems to be a ready made replacement for Dunn

finally some good news at last!

Great news looking forward. Don't think that a relegation battle is the right place to try anyone new to the Prem / first team football - I think he's one for next year. Given the system we're playing now it's vital to have someone really creativein behind the front man, and Dunny is becoming less and less able to perform that role. Here's hoping he's the next big thing.

he is 20 and its now or never, at 20 most players are having exstended runs in teams, If your good enough your old enough and from what I have seen this boy can really play

couldn't agree more. what we are doing is not working, a breath of fresh air and a touch of class on the ball could go a long way to breaking down everton

Good first English interview from Ruben http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/8977908.Blackburn_Rovers_set_to_unleash_Barca_wonderkid_on_Everton/?ref=rss - Kean simply HAS to play him!

Thought this lad was absolutely terrific in the first half, was wuite in the 2nd half, but you have to expect that from a young lad on debut. His footskills is absolutley brilliant, definetly going to be a very good player in years to come
