'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Kalinic talks...

Rovers suit wearing reserve Nikola Kalinic has confirmed that if his Rovers fortunes don't improve then he will need to look for a new club.

Kalinic has been in missing in (lack of) action the last few weeks and a lot of fans have been clamouring for an explanation as to why... but none has been forthcoming.

And for those looking for a run down of events from the man in the know you'll be disappointed as even Niko doesn't seem to know why he's being given the cold shoulder judging his latest comments.

He has denied being transfer listed but he knows nothing more than that.

'I don't know anything about me being transfer-listed,' Kalinic told Sportske Novosti.

'I still have a contract for the next two years but, yes, if nothing changes before the summer, then I will have to find a new club.

'But, nobody has transfer listed me. The only truth is that I'm unhappy with my status.

'Why? Well, because I'm not playing, but I still believe in myself and I'm sure that I will soon be in the first XI again.

'I would just be happy if somebody would tell me why I have been pushed aside since my return from national team action.'

Sad to see this happen on the whole and to say I don't understand it in full is an understatement.

this is so easy to fix sack kean bring in shep the dog as manager and we d be finishing back were we belong up in the tens

I hope Kean clears this up on friday before the Everton game. Even if he doesn't like Niko as a player he isn't going to raise his value to sell him by keeping him out of the squad. We deserve an explanation.

Could it not be clever to leave him out for a month and then bring back a hungry fired up striker. Might be good management
del
we'd take him at newcastle if you don't want him
rabit71
we have essentially lost niko unless kean leaves over the summer...

Totally daft. I've never seen him put in less than 100% effort - and that's more than can be said for Roque. Kalinic could be a major part of the future for Rovers. One that needs sorting out now.

Kean OUT, Jensen Out, Roberts OUT, Benjani OUT, Bilic IN, Wilkins IN, Kalinic IN, Krankjar IN, = Maybe rovers can learn to win again

love to see that

Kalinic has done unbelieveably well in hows he's conducted himself throughout this whole thing. Kean needs to give some logic as to why he's not playing. Its absolutely ******** ridiculous

But seriously, he is our best striker by a mile, He tries his arse off every game and has some genuine class. We paid 6million for him and every day he doesn't play were decreasing his value. It doesn't make sense. It a complete disgrace. what the hell is going on?
