Rovers with near clean bill of health

Cometh the hour, cometh the return of previously injured and suspended players.

With a crunch match against Birmingham on the horizon it would appear beneficial to have plenty of choice as to who to turn to.

So with that introduction comes good news, news that Morten Gamst Pedersen is back from the injury that kept him away from the pitch against Arsenal and Gael Givet is also back from his two match suspension picked up for the ruck after the final whistle in the daylight robbery against Fulham.

So bar the injuries to Vince Grella (heart attack) and Keith Andrews (less so) and the first match in a three match ban for Steve N'Zonzi Rovers have got basically everyone back into the mix.

David Dunn and Phil Jones are completely injury free and Roque Sanat Cruz has gone a whole week without picking up a niggle.

A sign that our luck is in?

Rovers can pick from - Robinson, Bunn, Givet, Salgado, Emerton, Samba, Nelsen, Hanley, Phil Jones, Jermaine Jones, Olsson, Hoilett, Dunn, Formica, Rochina, Pedersen, Diouf, Santa Cruz, Benjani, Roberts and.... wait for it... Kalinic.

very interesting to see if givet goes back in the team. Does that mean olsson goes further up the pitch, and hoillet goes out right?
sasman
I think we need Givet back as Olsson can then push forward, The only two doubts for me are a) Who starts up front and b) Who out of Morten and Emerton replaces N'Zonzi...
Mikey Delap
Please, please play Kalanic. Even for the 1st hour and then bring on Santa Cruz or Roberts to hold the ball up and keep our 2 goals lead.....again fingers crossed. We need our top scorer on the pitch please.
fat-elvis
Good to have Givet back, Not usre if he will bring him straight back in after the performance at Arsenal, Would prefer him to replace N'Zonzi with another stiker personally
glen9mullan
much rather have givet at left back and push olsson forward, hoilett on the right and may be put dunn on for n'zonzi...
DommyWalker
Good shout that dommy!!!
Mikey Delap
Givet to LB, Hoilett right midfield, Gamst in the middle in place of the Zonz, Kalinic instead of Rocque

Time to start picking the points up. Surely the bad spell must be over and Santa Cruz will finally get on the score sheet tomorrow. I would rather see Olsson moved up to the left wing and Givet slotting in at left back but I think after the Arsenal game Kean might decide otherwise and just replace N'Zonzi with Pedersen. Hope his tactics aren't negative for this one.

If we can get a result tomorrow and then sneak something at Everton we could be on a roll... please let it be so!

we gud have pele up front keano in defencise mindfield messi on left zidane on the right best LF xavi holding with play while pushing. S ramos{real} RB r carlos LB tony adams CB braveheart him self coln henry CB and in GOALS shay given we still wouldnt win a game under this joke of a manger well self proclaimed
tubzz
Sorry, Tubbz. But with each passing comment, you prove yourself to be the biggest tit in West Lancashire. I reckon we will grab a 3-0 win today, come on lads and come on Kean. As I said on the forum, if Kean wins his next 3 games, he will have gained 1 more point in his 17 games in charge than Sam did in his 17 games in charge this season. Come on Kean, prove this idiot wrong,
roversfanben
if kean wins four out no three out of the next seven games ill eat me micky ............but i cant understand yea ppl yea talked about sam playing this long ball soccer were he finish comforable in mid table 10 buyiny alot of these young players and yea still wanted him out .. are u on drugs roversfanben how can u come out with Come on Kean is there something wrong with u
tubzz
I can't argue with you. You are clearly beyond all reasoning. Carry on with your idiotic mind set. I will just continue to get behind both the team, and the manager. Please, Kean, prove this idiot wrong.
roversfanben
No Givet. No Kalinic. No 3 points. Roversfanben we all need to stop this 'if we win the next game' mentality. We are not winning the next game. it was exactly like this last time we went down. 'There's always the next game we can win that one.' I'm sorry but I simply don't see where the goals are going to come from to turn this around hope Junior is fit for City.
