Rovers striker Nikola Kalinic will seek assurances that he will see some more regular pitch action after finding himself shoved onto the periphery in recent weeks.
Kalinic started the Steve Kean reign as a favourite of the Scot but has fallen behind Jason Roberts, Roque Santa Cruz, Mame Biram Diouf and even it seems Benjani for a spot in the Rovers front line in the last few games.
And Niko's agent has clarified his position with a statement that indicates he would love to remain a Rover and that is very much his first choice but he will be forced to look elsewhere if he is not given game time.
Niko's agent Mr. Erceg told the Lancashire Telegraph - "It has not been easy for Nikola and we don`t know what has happened because last month he played for a strong Croatian team but he has not played a second for Blackburn.
"We are not even talking about other clubs now though because he is contracted with Blackburn and wants to concentrate on helping the club out of a difficult position.
"He likes Blackburn Rovers and is happy here but he needs to play. He is a young player who is very confident about what he can do and we will have to see what happens in the summer.
"We hope he will play and stay but if he does not play he might have to change clubs. We will speak with the club in the summer but until then there is no problem and he will keep working hard to help the club.
"Obviously there are clubs who would want him but they are not even in our thoughts at the moment."
Fall out with management? Injury? Illness? Either way Kalinic has to be a far better bet than Santa Cruz at present and yet he doesn't even make the bench?!
