'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Emo knows what is needed

Brett Emerton has backed the Rovers to see off relegation and sees the previous experiences of the players and the club as a tool to be sued in the run in.

Rovers have been a few yards short of sparkling in recent times but Brett has seen it all before.

Sasman's favourite man told the club's official website - 'I think about this time when we have come up against it and really needed to win games, we have been able to do that.

'Hopefully this season will be no different and we can string a few wins together and finish the season on a high.

'I think we know what is needed to be done and we feel we can do that and get the results we need.'

Very professional.

I do feel the fact the likes of Nelsen, Samba, Givet, Morten and Roberts have been in this sort of scenario before can be of benefit...

i still dont see why emerton is not in the team, emo holds down a flank, he might not be the most attackive minded of players, but when he is on, that flank is shut down
sasman
He does track back more than others and does really help out Salgado when he's on the right. Morten needs a bit of a boot in the backside so I'd like to see a midfield of Olsson JJ Formica Emo (altho Formica is probs still not ready/injured?!). Hoillett can go in behind Niko/Rochina, although we know Roberts will probably start :(.
