Kahlenburg hints at Premier League switch

Looks like Thomas Kahlenburg is angling for a move to the Premier League as the Norwegian, who has been strutting his stuff on trial at Rovers in the last week or so, weighs up his future options.

The current Wolfsburg midfielder has been told to do one from the German club as the player has been accused of lacking focus since January. But there are some rumours (one of which was bought to our attention on Vital Blackburn's forum) that he is just being used as a scapegoat by his manager.

Either way, Steve Kean and John Jensen were eager to have a good gander at the midfielder who is described as a 'play maker'.

The midfielder, who is 27 told Onside - 'It was a very positive experience at Blackburn.'

'I was impressed by everything and a move would be interesting, especially considering my situation at Wolfsburg.

'Time will tell where I end up playing because I have still got a contract at Wolfsburg.

'But of course I would like to play in the Premier League.'

I would wait and see if we are still in it by May first young Thomas!
