Superman to the rescue!

Phil Jones has declared himself fit for the rest of the season as he bids to fight to keep Rovers in the Premier league.

Having been out since December Jones has missed a bulk of the season with a knee injury however 'Superman' is back to save the day.

Rovers defence has been like a sieve in recent weeks letting everything bar a large Shevki Kuqi through on goal, but with the young Englishman back things could be looking up.

Jones could find a place on the subs bench against Blackpool next weekend however he will no doubt be in the starting 11 very soon.

(or not, Keith Andrews will no doubt be picked over him)

Good news! Great news in fact, we have been a poorer side in his absence...
Mikey Delap
Great news!! Just what we need, Whilst some of the performances and commitment of some of the players could be questioned in recent games this fella will certainly put his all in when he plays.

great news, just hope were not bringing him back early at the risk of greater long term injury.. but stuff it- he's a great player and would make a great impact

i agree with Retro, its great news he is back, but we should side with caution that we don't rush him back and risk further injury, Where he will play i'm unsure. Hewas playing centre mid, but will kean revert him back to centre back? and if thats the case will it be Nelsen or Samba who makes way?

It is quite sad that we are pinning our hope on a 19 year old - where are the experienced pros who should be leading the way?

Maybe that shows that Jones is that good???
Mikey Delap
we can really use him at the moment. i do prefer him at the back but it's very hard to choose between nelsen or samba
DommyWalker
I agree mikey that he is that good - but is it folly for us to think that one player can change everything around? Shouldn't the manager be doing that anyway, or the captain, or the more experienced players who have been here before?
