'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Nelsen shows that loyalty still exists in football

Rovers club captain Ryan Nelsen has told of his love for the Rovers and clarified his intention to see out his contract with the club.

Nelsen has been at the club since 2005 and has been a mainstay at Ewood Park ever since whilst seeing a lot of people come and go like a wise old head that has worked at a pension company for 35 years.

And just to show the youngsters that he is serious about his loyalty to the club, check these bad boy quotes out.

Ryan spoke to rovers.co.uk - "I want to see out my contract here. The club has been extremely good to me. I love the fans and the atmosphere here.

"My philosophy is I will give everything and put everything in until I can`t. Until my body packs in or I am told I am not good enough to be around.

"Whether that be next week, it could be next week, or whether it is two years I will just keep doing that. I can`t see myself going anywhere else, not in England now to tell you the truth.

"I don`t think I could feel comfortable playing for another club now, having put so much time and effort into Blackburn. It just wouldn`t sit right."

And that boys and girls is what we like to call the 'absolute right attitude'.

If only there were more like him.

Great attitude, always trying his best for the club - one of the best transfers for price and value the club has ever done.

There are very few that show any kind of loyalty these day, however, The Admiral is one of the few left in the modern era that I really do believe show's this.
