Diouf departs Ewood for Rangers

Rangers have completed the six month loan signing of Blackburn Rovers winger El Hadji Diouf.

Diouf has been linked with a move away all window bur Rangers moved in yesterday and Diouf saw it as an opportunity to bust a move away from English football for the first time in 8 years.

There is a rumour going around that the final straw in the Diouf dynamic was the QPR and Neil Warnock row that broke out a few weeks back.

Diouf has also fallen behind Junior Hoilett in the ranks out on the right wing and the move appears beneficial for all concerned as Diouf is on some hefty wages.

It seems the move could be made permanent if Diouf does well.

He certainly did a good job for Rovers in his time here and he won a few over but I guess some will be pleased to see him go?
