Formica finally completes Rovers switch!

Finally 22 year old Mauro Formica has signed for Blackburn Rovers.

On the night Rovers signed young Barcelona striker Ruben Rochina, we have also snatched up Formica from Newell's Old Boys.

The attacking Midfielder has signed a deal until 2014 after a fee of around 3.5m was agreed.

A player we needed.. lets hope he is not a flop like many Argentinians in the EPL!

Keano was singing the lads praises, so lets hope he delivers!

He told Rovers official site.

'Mauro is a fantastic talent, an attacking player who has been in great demand. He has great technical ability and is a typical Argentinian with a bit of fight and a bit of devilment in him.'

That should complete our incomings this window.. with only a possible outgoing loan move for El Hadji Diouf to Rangers..

he sounds exactly like the type of player that we need...attacking midfielder...like rover23 said, you never know what you'll get with south american players, hopefully this will prove to be a bargain.

Now it sounds like we have an alternative to Dunn at the top of the diamond...
