Formica and Rochina arrivals on the cards

Mauro Formica and Barcelona's Reuben Rochina are both set to complete moves to Blackburn before tonight's 11pm deadline.

As far as the eye can see these are the two moves Rovers want and despite hitches in both moves throughout the transfer window both look set to be in Blue and White before 11pm tonight.

Formica is just waiting for passport documentation and Rochina is believed to be at Rovers negotiating a deal.

Steve Kean even had a few words as to why the Formica deal is taking a while.

Kean spoke to Sky Sports and said - 'There is a technical problem with a piece of paperwork we need and if we get that then hopefully that (Formica) can go through before the window closes.

'Mauro Formica was there on Saturday. If we can get that final bit of paper then hopefully that will be him here.'

In other news, it looks like Man City have moved for Seb Larsson on loan as Adam Johnson is injured and they are looking for a short term solution.

Sounds like the Formica one still has the potential to go wrong but hopeful on both!

Shame we haven't gone in for Larsson or SWP. Roque has the proven aerial ability and these two would've been ideal. Still time i suppose anything could happen before 11pm. I would certainly be happy if we get Formica and Rochina though.
