'If It's Football, It's Vital'

And so it's deadline day

It is that lovely day that rolls around twice a year where the TV channels go into overdrive and hype everything up to the maximum level.

Yes, it's transfer deadline day, the day where the world stops to see some shocking activity and your club's players ranks boosted with a fast last minute move.

Either that or all the hype leads to roughly nothing as the day peters out into a vaccuum and the manager is trotted out the following day to declare the window 'a success' because they hung onto key players.

So what's in store for the Rovers?

Well for the first window in quite a while the window has some potential, gone are the days where we were as broke as a joke and we actually have some money to spend.

Granted, we only have two loan signings to show for our efforts so far but money is available and some of it should be used later on today to confirm the signing of Argentine Mauro Formica... passport or no passport.

But the rumours also indicate that moves for Victor Vasquez, Stephen Warnock and a number of wingers are a distinct possibility.

Watch this space kids.

Formica and Rochina in & Samba signing his new deal would be great. Larsson/Warnock probs aren't coming but would be added bonuses.

Formica and Rochen look good for the future. Signing warnock would make sense for both parties so could happen. I've got a funny feeling Diouf will be sold today.

Formica and Rochina that is... doh

We need a defender - and Warnock would be a good solid signing - hiwever, I think we'll be facing competition from Liverpool...
