'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Hang on, Diouf could be off

It seems that the will he won't he saga surrounding the universally loved El Hadji Diouf is set to continue as word has reached us at Vital Blackburn that Turkish side Konyaspor have tabled a bid for the Senegalese man.

Diouf was understood to be staying at Ewood Park but a high enough bid could tempt Rovers to sell.

Willie McKay told Sky Sports - 'Konyaspor have made a bid to Blackburn for El Hadji,'

'There has been a lot of interest in El-Hadji in England and across Europe as Blackburn have indicated they would be willing to let him move on for a minimal fee.

'El-Hadji's first preference would be to stay in England, but he is seriously considering the offer from Konyaspor.

'El-Hadji would be a top signing for someone in this transfer window as he has played at the highest level for club and country and he is player who not only scores goals, but creates a lot of goals as well.'

Hard to keep up hey?

I would have thought we would need someone lined up in order for us to let Diouf go?

Seems his agent trying to get him a free transfer and Rovers aint having any of it, a loan move is possible but bar someone offering cash he wont be going permanently

3m bid from a turkish club seems like a good deal, last chance for us to get a fee for a 30yrs old winger. With Hoilett and Olsson set to dominate both wings, letting Diouf go makes sense here.
