Rovers Transfer Update Exclusive

With 36589 players linked in and out of Blackburn over the last 3 weeks, it has come down to the final week of the window. Whether we do clinch some players or not, time will tell, however Glen has some vital information on a few of our targets

S Wright Phillips- Is available and Rovers are interested. However Blackburn want the winger to take a pay cut of 25k per week, and a 4 year contract will be on the table. Bolton are also in the running

Warnock- Simple really, Villa owe Blackburn money, and are finding a way not to stump up the cash. Best bet is to send the man back, and call it evens. Warnock wanted to go back to Liverpool, but they arent willing to offer a full time contract, could be a return to Ewood Park....

Rochina- The deal looks set. Player has agreed terms with Rovers, only hold up is the fee which Barcelona want. A bit of haggling on clauses, add ons, etc.....will be in a Rovers shirt soon.

Roniel- Arrived on Monday, the club will be holding an in house closed doors match, giving the young man a shot as well as players returning from injury, Grella, Andrews, Nzonzi, Roberts, etc.....

Kudo's to Glen for providing us with such great information

Ronieli is definitely one for the future. Check out his age on wikipedia, must be a record breaker!! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ronieli_Gomes_dos_Santos

Seen Rochina on Youtube he looks a good prospect. Can't see SWP taking a 25k pay cut, afterall he was happy to sit on the bench at Chelsea getting paid ridiculous money until another club paid him even more.

Good prospect? From wikipedia: The 86 year old striker was a surprise inclusion in São Paulo's 2008 Libertadores Cup. I bet it was a surprise at 86 yrs old!!

Warnock's return will be a big boost to our left back and defence. Hopeful for this one to happen.

Warnock returning meaning Givet leaving? Just a thought...

If villa still owe us money how the hell are they allowed to buy Bent for all that money?

I agree Itsallrover, Its funny how these things are agreed, with so many add on's added into transfer fee's, what looks good at the start see's us getting screwed at the end, I liked Warnock when he was here, but would we be getting the same player back? He has been playing poorly at leftback and his best form for rovers was arguably as a centre midfielder

warnocks sale to villa had stagnated payments, rather then an upfront payment. Villa arent behind in the payment schedule, their is no issues there....but i think they would rather offload the player and use that money to pay the rest, or send him back to us, rather then stump up the rest of the cash

warnock returning not necessary means it's all rover for Givet, who can slot in the centre of defence. With young Phil Jones out for the season, Givet can provide cover for both positions. Olsson's best position is on the left wing, Warnock at left back will be ideal.
