I am guessing this might not be a too popular move?!

dont see the problem though. They own it, surely they need a spot or 2 on the board? makes sense!
sasman
I agree sas. I'm guessing we lost board members when the Walker Trust left. You need to fill those spaces so I guess this is inevitable. It is their club they have a right to those board positions.
fransavarese
When the Venky's took over one board member left, that was the vice chairman appointed to oversea the Walker trust interest's a certain Mr Brown. It only makes sense that the Venky's have their own people on the board, perhaps the new board will have some say in what is happening now and John Williams can carry on steering the club as before.
Ewoodrover
Do we know anything more about these guys? What's their background?
Stubbs
They are indians.... LOL....
metalrover
@ Metal Rover - hey racist pig - what if they are Indians ? do you know that we Indians ve been **** u *****s in Cricket for decades around ? @ Mikey & Sas - following BBR after venky's take over and your's is one site i keep track of. But dont you people have any moderation so that we can kick off these racist idiots ( metal rover ) ?
kkk
Your screen name is KKK and you're shouting about racism? You have to be on the wind up. Anyway I don't see how Metalrover is being racist by pointing out that they are Indian. If he made a derogatory comment based on the fact that they are Indian then fair enough call him a racist but he hasn't yet. Back on topic, as others have said why shouldn't the owners appoint people to the board.
Durks
kkk I don't care what race you are, Your a tool, Go away..
oziroversfan
@ Durks - what has a screen name gotta do with the comments posted ? and nope , the sarcastic laughing after commenting them as Indians is enuf to understand what he is trying to mean - don ve to write everything ! @ozi - hey dick head , i dont care who u are - u r a stupid dick head who thinks u can decide who should stay and who shld go away - Get lost !!!!
kkk
Not too bothered who is on the board tbh, Majority shareholders will make decisions regardless, As for racist comments, none were made, however children read this site and bad language is unwelcome fromanyone regardless of race.
glen9mullan
The KKK are a notorious group of racists in the US, in fact I'd be mightily surprised if you were unaware of them. If you are however unaware why not read up on them and then see why your screen name coupled with your comments of racism might seem a touch strange. Also as Glen said no need for the name calling from anyone.
Durks
@ durks - tbf , the best i could recollect on KKK ( after ur expln that is ) was a dim picture of reading about it in Sherlock Holmes ... jus read up on them and u r right.
