Jensen is new Kean assistant

Blackburn have appointed former Denmark international midfielder John Jensen as the new assistant manager to rookie boss Steve Kean.

Jensen has been signed on a six month deal that will take him till the end of the season initially but that deal will be extended if he impresses.

Jensen is most famous for scoring in the Euro 92 final against Germany but has been making some inroads into the assistant manager world with some stellar work on the continent.

He has previously been an assistant to Danish national team (under Michael Laudrup) and La Liga team Getafe.

Very goods guy as I wrote in the forum, know him from Brondby IF. Hope it will bring more focus on Blackburn from Danish medias, and maybe a few danes also :-) Cheers
riisenholt
If he is good 23 then who cares?!
Mikey Delap
The clubs where he has been assistant to Michael Laudrup he and Laudrup where known for good attacking football...dont know if that is mainly due to Laudrup though...

Only till the end of the season, and hand picked by the club and not Kean, Will be following Kean out of the door once the owners come to their senses

He might be quite good though? Seems to have a decent enough pedigree!!!
Mikey Delap
If he can help Kean with some concistancy with results while watching some good attacking football, then im all for it!!!

Another stupid appointment!

A lot of negative responses here, why not try to be positive....cheers

Agree with Riisenholt. I don't care who his agency are. He looks like a decent assistant. Give the man a chance. Its turning into the LET around here lately, hence why I've barely posted.
