'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Tomorrow's opponents aiming for Rovers defender

Rovers FA Cup opponents, Championship runaway leaders QPR are apparently chasing the services of out of favour defender Pascal Chimbonda.

Chimbo was last seen playing three seconds behind the game in the 7-1 defeat to Manchester United a few months back and it is well documented he is free to leave in this current transfer window.

That has alerted our old pals over in London and Neil Warnock is looking for a full back after the end of Kyle Walker's loan from Spurs.

The Fulham Chronicle is reporting - 'QPR are ready to gamble on Pascal Chimbonda as Kyle Walker's replacement after the right-back was recalled to Spurs this week at the end of his loan deal.

Chimbonda has been told he can leave Blackburn - but the sticking point might be getting Rovers to loan rather than sell a player who`s not seen eye-to-eye with his last three Premiership bosses.'

Well it certainly would free up the wage bill a bit and he blatantly needs to move on!

Can we pay them to take him? I've got a fiver on me now...?

Always makes me laugh when I think of Chimbonda being subbed by Spurs during the League Cup final and he stormed off, threw his shirt to the ground - then when they won he came out celebrating like it didn't happen!

We can always just hogtie him & chuck him in the boot of their coach?
Stubbs
Why are they haggling, they have more money behind them than most Premiership sides and he won't cost that much. QPR get your cash out and I'll drive him down for you.

I will drive him down to QPR - sadly it hasnt worked out for him at Rovers and its time to go !!

Bit harsh on Chimbo this but majority rules hey!!!

He never seems to stick at any club does he.. time to move on for Chimbonda.. but I will always be thankful for that amazing goal he scored against Burnley.. :) Cheers Chimbo! All the best!

Never was a fan of the man.. Will be glad to see the back of him. Doesnt have a good attitude, or mentality.

Warnock can have Chimbonda for free, but the clause is he'll need to take El Hadji Diouf as well... hahhaah
