Baby Diouf dedicates win to the fans

Mame Biram Diouf has dedicated the surprise victory at the Hawthorns to the Rovers faithful.

The 3-1 win on Tuesday came as a surprise after the horror show against Stoke on Boxing Day and the on-loan Man United man admits that life as a Blackburn player has been tough these last few weeks.

But the Senegalese man insists that the team are together and that with the supporters behind the players the team can go places.

Diouf II spoke to Sky Sports News and said - 'We have been through a hard time, the team and everyone,'

'Even if is hard we are doing our best to make them happy. The fans have been waiting for this win and we have been looking forward to it.

'We have been playing so good, even when we have been unlucky. We have kept believing and that is what happened here.

'We are a team and a team has to have supporters behind you. If you have that it will always make you strong.

'Hopefully they will always understand us and know we always want to do our best for the club. We always want to win.

'They are always there so when we see them we are always happy to win for them.'

He could be up for grabs in the long run you never know... a lot of good strikers at United and he seems to have taken to being a Rover well.

Took me a while to get used to having a untied loanee, but He has done ok, and without setting the world on fire he may have just kept his price tag down so rovers could actually afford to buy him, If he had 20 goals plus, Don't think United would consider selling him, but with just the 6 he may just become a permanent signing which is good

he's versatile and has great potential. i would certainly be happy to have him here for good
