'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Another day another name

Rovers are racking up the transfer dealings judging by the amount of rumours going around and their new found prosperity looks likely to lead them to Blackpool's Charlie Adam.

Adam has been something of an unexpected hit over on the coast and his trials and tribulations have made him a hot property.

But not too long ago Adam was at loggerheads over cash payments with the Seasiders and that has left something of a rift to heal and Allardyce seems to believe he could be onto something.

Alan Nixon has written in today's Daily Mirror - 'Blackburn Rovers boss Sam Allardyce is ready to make a bid for Blackpool`s stylish Scot Charlie Adam - but he will have to pay £3 million for him.

Allardyce made a second personal check on midfield maestro Adam at the weekend and is still keen despite the chance to snap him up for nothing passing him by.

Adam lost his case for a free transfer on the grounds of a contract breach when he was not paid a survival bonus by the Seasiders last season.

However Allardyce is still on his trail, armed with cash from the new Indian owners. And the Rovers chief may test the water with an offer shortly, although Ian Holloway`s club will be hard to budge.'

Seems a bit more realistic price wise than N'Zogbia?
Mikey Delap
swap deal involving keith andrews?!?
LHrover
Probably N'Zogbia is top of Sam's list and Adam is second. I'm undecided on him. Doubt Ewood will be lit up by Adam but I'm sure he will work hard and do a job for the team.

mmm ok player but is he a goldfish in a small bowel?

i may as well throw in one more name. what about bendtner? it doesn't hurt to dream.
DommyWalker
Dream? He is one of Arsenal's more average players who scores goals because of the great service he receives. He would do OK at any prem club but will never be the natural goalscorer we are looking for. Bound to be overpriced also.
fransavarese
his finishing has been dismal in the past but he appears to be more clinical more recently. i also think he isn't bad at making crosses or creating opportunities.
DommyWalker
havent followed him so much, i know hes been getting me between 4 and 8 points a game in the fantasy football so must be ok lol
mutts nutts
think we need better to be fair
