'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Allardyce makes Wigan man his top target

Charles N'Zogbia has hopped straight to the top of the Blackburn Shopping January shopping list - according to the Sunday People.

Having come into new money in recent weeks, Rovers are being listed with nearly as many names as Manchester City and N'Zogbia seems to fit the bill as it is no secret he is looking to leave Wigan for pastures new.

Whether those new surroundings are about 30 minutes drive away from where he is now remains to be seen but Allardyce believes he can get his man given the right backing by Venkys.

The figure being quoted is £7 million and with the option of tossing Jason Roberts into the deal it could be a sweetener that the Latics may find hard to turn down.

Allardyce has made no qualms about the fact he wants a creative midfielder and a striker in the window.

Dont get too excited chaps....the fee being talked about is £12 mil with Arsenal, Man U, Liverpool and Marseille all showing interest...cant see him going for £7 mil

Would be a great signing! said so when he played at Ewood a few weeks ago! only thing we could do is pay a lot of it in installments! no doubt DW would rather sell to us as an ex-club of his than the likes of the so called "top 4"

Would surely be a v good signing. Yes we need a striker but with Dunny strugglling to turn out 25 times a season we need more creativity in the final third. Santa Cruz or Robbie Keane on loan with option to buy in the summer to go with it??
ITSALLROVER
A good player who would bring options to Rovers, however he has proved difficult at every club he has played for so far, additionally he would only view Rovers as another stepping stone. If any of the top 5 clubs bid for him and offer the high end wages he expects we won't stand a chance of him coming near Ewood

Be a great signing but tbh, i think he will move to a bigger club plus we cant afford him

Worbo if that figure is right then we have no chance!

depends if the big clubs really are kean- 12mil i think may be a little excessive. he's a good player and would be happy to see him in the squad- solid and proven
