Concerns over Kentaro and their role with Rovers

Some clarification is needed it seems over the role that renowned sports agency Kentaro are playing in their dealings with Venkys in connection with Blackburn Rovers.

The link between Kentaro and Venkys has been established in the past month or so and prior to the takeover of the club but it seems that there could be some uncertainty growing between Sam Allardyce and the new owners.

Big Sam wanted a swift meeting with the Rao family to discuss the hows, whats and whos with regards to the January transfer market. But it may come as a bit of a disappointment that talks are being held with Kentaro before the boss of Rovers.

The Lancashire Telegraph is reporting - 'Rovers boss Sam Allardyce was keen for a meeting with the Rao family soon after their takeover but concern will be growing after news of meetings in India first.

Kentaro have been acting as advisors to the new owners throughout the takeover process but their future role has remained unclear.

Now, with Kentaro and the Indian chicken giants set to meet to discuss 'budgets and targets' in India this week, concern is growing around Ewood Park over their potential influence.'

A nice little statement just explaining all these links would be a good move in my books.

it's all speculation of course but it wouldn't hurt to have a little clarity to appease all parties...

Sam has done well in the transfer market for us - letting someone else target players will cause problems

The last thing we want is early divisions forming in the running of the club. We don't need to list the owners who have got involved in team affairs and seen it backfired, we are well versed in these headline grabbing stories!

I think they have the let the Manager do exactly that which is manage the football team, Director of football or roles of this nature have never worked, The Manager has to be allowed to pick his own signings, because thats the only way the players will have the maximum impact. Its a results business and if they were to hand pick Sams players then Sam can't be made accountable for results on the pitch

Agree with most people in here, let us know what is tail and head in this case....

Where's Desai when you need her?!

The chicken farmers might be doing this to force Big Sam out. If Sam gets fedup that he's losing control of the players coming in, he resigns, chicken farmers won't have to sack him or pay any compensation.
