'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Morris pleased with debut despite drubbing

Rovers debut boy Josh Morris has explained that the result did not have a massive impact on what he considers to be a dream debut.

Morris was put on in the embarrassing defeat at Old Trafford with the score at 5-0 but still managed to shine a bit and even set up Chris Samba's consolation header.

Morris still seems in good spirits.

Morris told Rovers.co.uk - 'It is a dream come true, it is a shame about the result but still, to play the last half an hour in front of 70,000 was amazing.

'It is everyone's dream to play, especially at Old Trafford. I was told at half-time I might be coming on, did a bit of a warm up and the next minute I came on. I am still buzzing from it.

'Hopefully I get another chance in the next few weeks.'

He really doesn't get enough credit does he Allardyce for the smooth conveyor belt of young talent he breathes into our side... it gives us a nice balance.
