Rovers provide agent spending figures

Blackburn Rovers have produced their agent spend figures for the year ending September 30th 2010.

Every year these figures are carted out and the usual suspects such as Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea are again the biggest spenders.

Rovers are fifth from bottom in the who spends what on who league table having spent 1,623,232.92 on the signings of Yildiray Basturk, Benjani and Mame Biram Diouf's loan move. Apparently that 92p makes all the difference?!

The overall figures are down on the year before but the total gross is still at a whooping 67 million.

What a total waste of our (the fans) money I say. if you want to play football you don't need a money hungry agent to tell you who you should play for.
